Contract Overview
The latest version of the IT Enterprise Services-3 Hardware (ITES-3H) contract was announced in February 2014 and extends until February 21, 2021. The contract replaces the expiring ITES-2H contract. Although a series of protests held up the implementation of ITES-3H for almost a year, during that time an additional $1 billion was added to the contract ceiling. ITES-3H is now in full operation and represents IT hardware with a ceiling of $5 billion.
The ITES-3H contract is managed by the Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS unit). The group is responsible for managing several military-based IT contracts including ITES-3H, the Army Desktop and Mobile Computing-2/Consolidated Buy (ADMC-2/CB), Multifunctional Device (MFD), Mobility Services and AIT/RFID contracts.
