Daniel Morgan is an active duty Army infantry colonel, currently serving as the Army's Senior Fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations in New York. A veteran of multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, he commanded 1-87 Infantry, one of the first advise-and-assist battalions in Afghanistan's Regional Command- East in 2013.
