Emma Roller is a staff correspondent for National Journal. Before joining, Emma previously worked at Slate, where she wrote for and edited the Weigel and Moneybox blogs. Her work has also appeared in The New Republic, National Public Radio, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Emma graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she served as editor in chief of the Daily Cardinal, one of UW's two independent daily student newspapers. Ask her about cheese curds.
