Government and military leaders must regain high ground on the information operations landscape

The changing internet landscape presents a unique obstacle to government and military decision makers: what is there to do with all of this data? Adversaries of the United States are making fast advances, and it is imperative to the success of the U.S. military that it rise to the occasion.

"We recognize that the challenge is to gather all this data that's flowing," says Dennis Gibson, Senior Vice President and Lead, Information Operations in Booz Allen Hamilton's Defense & Intelligence Group. Commanders need to be able to sort through masses of data in order to develop tactful and effective information operations plans. But they need a new approach to do so.
