Multi-mission capabilities, inherent to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are expanding their concepts of operations. A new effort to connect multi-mission capabilities to tactical missile systems is just one example of current UAV innovations. This digital event explored concepts of the future, from ISR drones to tactical loitering missile systems that provide precision strike capabilities. We investigated the operational challenges surrounding unmanned aerial vehicles, and opportunities derived from advances in autonomy, AI and machine learning that are re-defining the future for UAVs.
