Jimmy Chien is an Indo-Pacific Foreign Area Officer-in-training for the U.S. Air Force. He has worked intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions in the Middle East, Africa, and the Indo-Pacific. He has lived in Taiwan and Beijing and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Jimmy has bachelor's degrees in history and Chinese, as well as a master's degree in Chinese from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; he is currently studying international policy at the Texas A&M Bush School of Government.
