Robert Hastings is a retired brigadier general of the Texas State Guard and principal of Robert Hastings & Associates, a consultancy specializing in strategy, marketing, communications, and government affairs within the aerospace and defense sectors. His distinguished military and civilian careers include service as an Army aviation officer and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense. Hastings is also the author of "PEOPLE FIRST: Lessons from 40 Years in the Leadership Laboratory."
