DOD appoints new director for acquisition
Appointment comes in wake of findings by Congressional panel of poor DOD acquisition and procurement practices.
According to an April 7 release from the Defense Department, Linda N. Allen has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service and is assigned as director, Acquisition and Procurement Office, Washington Headquarters Services, Washington, D.C.
Allen previously served as director, Enterprise Services Division, Acquisition and Procurement Office, Washington Headquarters Services, Washington, D.C.
