DISA migrates cyber guidance to new home

The Defense Department’s cybersecurity standards have a new home: Cyber.mil. The Defense Information Systems Agency migrated the security requirements and technology implementation guides in early May.

The Defense Department's cybersecurity standards have a new home: Cyber.mil. The Defense Information Systems Agency migrated the security requirements and technology implementation guides in early May, according to a May 23 news release.

The agency also launched a portal, the DOD Cyber Exchange, where subject matter experts with common access card access, can view upwards of 350 security guides, security content automation protocols, and STIG tools.

The migration sunsets the Information Assurance Support Environment portal as well as other STIGs for products that are no longer being supported by the vendor.
