CACI International Inc. has won a $33.6 million Navy task order to provide information operations and other support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division's Irregular Warfare Technologies Division.

CACI International Inc. has been awarded a $33.6 million Navy task order to provide information operations and other support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division’s Irregular Warfare Technologies Division.

This five-year task order under the Navy’s SeaPort-e Engineering, Technical, and Programmatic Support Services contract, also calls for engineering, technical and programmatic support services, the company said in an announcement Sept. 20.

The award represents new business for CACI, the company said.

NSWC, of Crane Ind., is a Navy shore command that uses technology to support U.S. forces in three focus areas: special missions, strategic missions, and electronic warfare/information operations.

The Irregular Warfare Technologies Division, which is part of the Joint Special Operations Response Department, serves a variety of federal and Defense Department customers, the announcement explained.

On this task order, CACI will support NSWC Crane by providing design, development, acquisition, integration, modeling and simulation, and assessment of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

The task order also calls for ground-based electronic protection systems, signature management technologies, computer network systems, and threat detection systems.
