SAIC wins $21M Navy digital surveillance contract

Navy surveillance system will be upgraded with enhanced software, engineering services.

Scientific Applications International Corp. has won a $21 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide digital video surveillance system training sets, engineering services, support and spares, reported Washington Technology, a Defense Systems sister publication.

SAIC said it will provide embedded software, technical data and engineering services to modernize the Navy’s digital video surveillance system. Work is expected to be completed by 2018.
