DOD social media rules might be here to stay
The Defense Department has reauthorized for another year existing social media guidelines which were set to expire this month.
Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn issued a Feb. 25 which sets forth responsible use guidelines for Internet-based capabilities, including social media, for all defense components and users of the Non-Classified IP Router Network.
