Air Force awards pair of contracts for UAS support
Dynamics Research Corp. will continue to provide engineering and technology services to the Air Force, having won a pair of two-year delivery orders worth a combined $24.5 million.
The Air Force has awarded Dynamics Research Corp. a pair of two-year delivery orders worth a combined $24.5 million to continue furnishing engineering and technology services for key unmanned aircraft system programs.
The contracts allow DRC to continue its efforts supporting mission-critical services in conjunction with the Air Force’s Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Predator/Reaper program, according to a May 9 company announcement.
Under a new delivery order valued at $5.6 million, DRC will support the Medium Altitude UAS Division with research and resolution of data rights for the entire Medium Altitude UAS program, the announcement said.
The second order, worth $18.9 million, calls for the government contractor to also provide program management, analysis and engineering, continuing work that dates from 2008.
The delivery orders were awarded under the Logistics, Maintenance and Supply Support contract, a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity award that provides total life cycle systems management support for business process services, solutions for Department of Defense logistics, maintenance and supply support functions, and associated technologies.
