Boeing's new C4ISR division to manage multiple programs
Boeing has created a new division to provide more focus and expertise to military customers for network-enabled command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs and technologies.
Boeing has established a new division to provide more focus and expertise to military customers for network-enabled command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs and technologies, company officials said Oct. 14.
The new division, the Electronic and Mission Systems (EMS), will fall under the company's Network and Space Systems unit and include Argon ST, Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) and Boeing's tactical ISR programs. Boeing acquired Argon ST and DRT in August 2010 and December 2008, respectively.
The EMS portfolio will cover Boeing's work on U.S. military C4ISR programs, such as the Navy's Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment systems, the Army's Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance System and various legacy programs Argon ST has with the Navy and Marine Corps.
