BAE wins $226M Army GPS deal
BAE has won an Army contract to furnish Global Positioning System technology and services.
BAE Systems has won a $226 million fixed-price contract from the Army to provide Global Positioning System technology and services, the Army said Jan. 3.
Under the contract, BAE will furnish components, repairs, maintenance and services for Doppler GPS navigation sets, the service said.
The work will be performed in Wayne, N.J., and Austin, Texas, the service said. It is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 1, 2017.
