Roland Lajoie is a retired U.S. Army major general with 36 years active duty. An alumnus of the Foreign Area Officer Program, he spent much of his career in intelligence and arms control matters concerning Russia. He served two tours at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and served as Chief of the US Military Liaison Mission in Potsdam, East Germany; Director of the On-Site Inspection Agency; and Director for International Negotiations, J5, JCS.
