On May 16, the Office of Naval Research will launch the Massive Multiplayer Online War Game Leveraging the Internet, or MMOWGLI, which will challenge players (the game is open to everyone) to respond to a piracy scenario where the outcome has major global foreign policy and defense implications.
As the game progresses over a three-week cycle, players will evaluate and expand on suggestions made by their fellow gamers.
