The hybrid airship is now in a hanger with all 19 sections inflated and sensor payloads integrated into its structure awaiting its first flight.
The LEMV, being built for the Space and Missile Defense Command under a $500 million contract, is believed to be purchased by the command on behalf of the army's special operations forces.
