Tristan Abbey is president of Comarus Analytics, and a fellow at the Energy Policy Research Foundation. Abbey was a senior professional staff member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, and served from 2012 to 2017 as the committee’s chief Republican energy economist. He served as the National Security Council's director for energy and environment from 2017 to 2018 and as director for strategic planning from 2018 to 2019.
