Army to close the 'gap' on intel training

A new contract awarded to Lockheed will ensure soldiers receive instruction in a variety of analytical and operational disciplines.

Lockheed Martin Corp. will provide analytic and intelligence training to the Army Intelligence and Security Command under a three-year contract that has a ceiling value of $89 million.

The G3 Training and Readiness Support Service contract, announced April 16, calls for Lockheed Martin Corp. to provide operationally focused “gap” training to Army intelligence soldiers in a variety of analytical and operational disciplines, including the Army Foundry Intelligence Training Program and cryptologic-training management requirements.

The work will be performed at locations both inside and outside the continental U.S.
