The 2019 Federal 100: Nominate today!

Help FCW find the individuals having the biggest impact in defense IT.

For three decades, FCW's sister publication FCW has honored the Federal 100  -- women and men who’ve had an outsized impact on federal IT over the past year. And the Dec. 24 deadline for this year’s Fed 100 nominations is fast approaching.

So if you know individuals whose talents and drive have made federal IT better in 2018, please be sure they have the opportunity to get the recognition they deserve. Get started today on your nominations.

Not sure what it takes to make the Fed 100? Detailed guidelines can be found at FCW.com/2019fed100, but here are four points to remember:

1. Anyone in the federal IT community is eligible -- which includes all of the military and defense agencies. Generally, that means agency employees and select members of the contracting sector, but past winners have included legislators, academics, independent watchdogs and others as well.

2. The award is for individual accomplishments in 2018. These are not team honors or lifetime achievement awards.

3. Fed 100 winners go above and beyond -- whatever their level or rank. A fancy job title is not required, and just doing one's job well is not enough.

4. Impact matters. The judges need to know not only what a nominee did, but also what all that hard work accomplished.

Additional guidelines are available at FCW.com/2019fed100.

Please pick the people you think should be among this year's Federal 100, and make sure we know about them as well!
