Sefa Secen is assistant professor of Political Science at Nazareth University in Rochester, New York. He studies political discourses about migrants as well as political behaviors of migrants using a mixed-method approach. His research draws on qualitative data (interviews and print, digital, and social media content) and quantitative data (survey experiments). His regional specializations are the Middle East and Western Europe.
