Guam missile-defense. The Missile Defense Agency wants to find the perfect spot for a command-and-control facility on Guam, where Army cruise missile defense and other weapons are to help protect U.S. interests in the Pacific, Defense One reports

CENTCOM contest. U.S. Central Command is using a new contest to tap into the creative minds of service members to find new technologies to solve problems by, Defense One reports. The “Innovation Oasis” competition is modeled after Fort Bragg’s “Dragon Lair.”

New social-media rules. A new Pentagon social-media policy asks troops and Defense Department civilians to report fake accounts to stop misinformation about the military, Defense One reports. The policy also has guidance on records management for accounts.
